The Junk Post FAQ
The Junk Post FAQ
What is The Junk Post?
The Junk Post is a monthly snail mail club created by Stuf & Junk Designs.
Each month, you'll receive a themed envelope filled with happy mail and surprises. Contents vary from month to month and may include items such as stickers, bookmarks, art prints, playlists, prompts, mini stationery items, journaling cards and other paper goodies.
Every edition follows a unique theme and is designed to bring a little creativity, joy and mailbox happiness to your month.
Is The Junk Post a subscription?
No.
The Junk Post is currently offered as a month-to-month mail drop.
There are no subscriptions, automatic renewals or recurring charges. Simply place your order by the monthly cutoff date to receive the upcoming edition.
Do I have to commit to multiple months?
Not at all!
Each edition is purchased separately, so you can order only the months that interest you.
When do orders close?
Orders close on the 20th of each month.
This allows time to prepare, create and mail each edition.
Why do orders close on the 20th?
Everything inside The Junk Post is designed, printed, assembled and packed in-house.
The monthly cutoff allows me to determine how many pieces need to be created and ensures I have enough materials and production time to complete each edition.
When will my order be mailed?
The Junk Post is mailed during the final week of each month.
Delivery times will vary depending on your location and USPS processing times.
Which month's edition will I receive?
Each mailing contains the upcoming month's edition.
Example:
Order by June 20 → Receive the July edition.
Order after June 20 → Receive the August edition.
Why do I receive next month's edition instead of the current month?
Many of the items included are designed to be enjoyed throughout the month, such as calendars, prompts, playlists and themed inserts.
By mailing each edition before the month begins, you'll have more time to use and enjoy everything included.
Will I know what's inside before I order?
The exact contents are always a surprise.
However, sneak peeks, theme reveals and behind-the-scenes previews may be shared throughout the month.
Can I choose the items in my envelope?
No.
Each edition is curated around a monthly theme and all recipients receive the same core experience.
Are the items handmade?
Many of the items are designed, printed, assembled and packaged by hand by Capree at Stuf & Junk Designs.
Is every month's theme different?
Yes!
Each month features a unique theme with coordinating designs, colors and surprises.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Due to the nature of handmade and curated mail drops, returns and exchanges are not accepted unless an item arrives severely damaged or there is an issue with your order.
What if my envelope is lost or damaged?
Because The Junk Post travels through the mail, minor bending, corner wear or handling marks may occasionally occur. These are considered normal postal wear and are not eligible for replacement.
If your order arrives severely damaged or with missing contents, please contact me within 7 days of delivery and I will do my best to make it right.
